Commemoration of Covid-19 Victims
Nov. 23, 2020

We worked on the manufacturing of the commemorative plaque that was placed to honor all the runners whom the Covid-19 pandemic prevented from participating in the 40th edition of the Valencia Marathon.

The marathon was scheduled to take place on December 6, 2020, but it was ultimately not held due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The plaque reads the following text: "KM 0 of effort. “To all the runners whom the COVID-19 pandemic prevented from participating in the 40th edition of the Valencia Marathon, scheduled for December 6, 2020. With the metal from the medals they could not receive, we created this plaque at km 0 of the marathon so that their effort does not go unrecognized.”"

The text commemorates the thousands of athletes who will not be able to run the marathon this year due to the current health situation we are experiencing.

In addition to this plaque and as part of the 40th anniversary of the Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP Marathon, an exhibition has been inaugurated to showcase the most representative moments of the four decades of the event. The exhibition can be visited until December 20 at the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum in the City of Arts and Sciences.
